Delhi International Arbitration Centre New Delhi is the first Institutional Arbitration Centre to be annexed by the High Court, having been founded in 2009. DIAC is an independent, transparent, and professional body that advocates for the growing need for institutional arbitration. An "Institute of National Importance" designation has been granted by the Indian government to DIAC.

The Delhi International Arbitration Centre charges Rs 5,000 for claims up to Rs 10 Lakhs and Rs 10,000 for claims beyond Rs 10 Lakhs. Meetings of the Arbitral Tribunal committee are restricted to certain phases, including setting terms of reference, recording oral testimony, and hearing oral arguments.

Beginning in their second or third year, prospective students pursuing LLM/Ph.D. programs are offered internship options that last four to eight weeks. The Arbitration Committee reports that 897 cases were resolved and 3289 cases were advanced in 2023. Modern facilities, a library and a moot court are also made possible by DIAC.
