Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth Akola is a state university established in 1969. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth was named after the son of Government of India Agriculture Minister Vidarbha Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh.
