Admission into IGTAMSU is course dependent. For most courses, the university conducts its own entrance examination through which the eligibility of the candidates is checked. For example, admission to the M.Sc Medical Laboratory Technology (Pathology) course is granted on the basis of merit in a Common Entrance examination conducted by the varsity. IGTAMSU also accepts scores from national-level entrance exams like NEET for relevant medical courses.
