BA
The candidate who has passed the Higher Secondary Part-II examination (10+2 Pattern) of the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto. Semester-I examination under the CBCS shall be open to a candidate who has passed not less than one academic year preceding the year of the qualifying examination.
B.Com
A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
BCA
those candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Part-II examination (under 10+2 pattern) of the J&K State Board of School Education or an examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto with Mathematics as one of the elective subjects and has obtained not less than 50% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination in case of General Category and 45% marks in case of SC/ST candidates. Provided that admission to the Govt. Colleges/Non-Government Colleges affiliated to the University of Jammu shall be made directly by the Admission Committee of the College concerned based on marks obtained by the candidate/s in the qualifying examination. Provided that non-governmental colleges follow the same admission schedule and procedure/statutes as applicable to the government, Colleges. Further, admission to non-local candidates in non-govt was provided. Colleges shall be granted under the second preference category.
BBA

A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with science stream or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
B.Sc Computer Applications Hons
A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with science stream or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
B.Sc Mathematics Hons
A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with science stream or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
B.Sc Geography Hons
A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with science stream or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
