Don Bosco College of Teacher Education situated at Tura was set up in 2005 and hence is a premier college in educating teachers in Meghalaya, India. The institution provides only one programme in education and this is the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). This is a two-year course that is taken at full-time basis and has been implanted to prepare students with all that they require to have a prosperous teaching profession.

- Candidates with at least fifty percent (50%) marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree or in the Master’s Degree are eligible for admission to the DBCTE program.
