Dr Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Government Polytechnic was set up in 1994 and is one of the leading technical colleges situated in Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli. This is a government polytechnic situated in Bhopal; it is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education – AICTE Recognised Institute offering Diploma Courses in Engineering Disciplines. Located on a large land of 43.81 Acres, the institute has a total enrolment of students of 731 and has the strength of 15 faculties.
Considering the position of the institute, it is proud to present a number of additional facilities aimed at improving the learning processes to the attention of students. The campus has well-equipped laboratory for each department, there is dexterity training which is essential in technical learning. A modern library is an information centre that provides various and diverse resources for learning exercises. The institute also focuses on the all round development of the students by providing place for sport and exercises facilities for having a gymnasium.
The Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Government Polytechnic for the current academic session and year provides a total of seven full-time diploma courses out of which all are of three years duration.
