The exploring Institution featured in this paper is: Goa College of Architecture (GCA), Panaji, Goa founded in the year 1982. This affiliated college responds to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Council of Architecture, focuses on specialized education in architecture. GCA occupies a land area of 1 acres; the school has total number of 204 students and fifteen teaching faculties.
Goa College of Architecture has other facilities which include a library and hostels for the students, also their appropriate infrastructure for courses completion. The library plays a major role of providing information to those undertaking architectural studies, as a resource centre. Purposefully designed laboratories that support activities within architectural courses are also well equipped by GCA. The campus provides a hostellers’ living learning environment for out-station students where a separate hostel facility for boys and girls is available. Sporting facilities are provided for the students as a way of ensuring that they have a balance working/healing time Facilities for sport are provided for the students in a bid to ensure that they balance their working time with healing time. The college provides an information technology facility for contemporary styles of learning; the cafeteria is also provided for students to take a break and snack from their reverie. GCA also continues to support an alumni group through which the current students are put in touch with the market.
Among the three full time programmes, Goa College of Architecture considers the needs of the architectural learners at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This institute offers total student intake of 80 in all its courses of study.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects with 50% marks in aggregate and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 examination. OR Passed the 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject having obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the aggregate and Qualifying NATA (Or) Any other Aptitude Test conducted by Competent Authority of the State Government/ UT.

A candidate desirous of joining the M. Arch. program at the Goa College of Architecture should:
a. Be an Indian national.
b. Have passed the Bachelor of Architecture examination from Goa College of Architecture and or Goa University or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA (50% or 5.0 CGPA in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC category).
