Government Aizawl West College, Aizawl, the college was founded in 1990 situated in Dawrpui Vengthar Aizawl, Mizoram affiliated to the university. Swarnima is located at a very small area of 2.49 acre area and the institute has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college has developed a good inventory of 9 course spread across two degrees; with most of them affiliated to humanities and Social Sciences disciplines.
