It also prides itself in having better IHM Goa infrastructure and that would include better amenities to reflect the hospitality industry. Offering excellent learning facilities for each and every course, the Housekeeping Laboratory at this institute offers real life equipment and exposures in laundry, stains removing techniques, management of rooms etc. Computer Lab, a technology learning centre, familiarises the student with the current software used in the hotel industry, the Microsoft office packages, PMS packages among others. The library, which is referred to as source of water in the middle of the dry season, offers books, magazines, and journals for loaning as well as internet browsing computers. What we have for the aspiring chefs as well as other food service personnel is state of art training facilities that mimic operating kitchens and restaurants.
The courses provided in the institute cover a broad area of the hospitality sector to ensure that all subsections are well addressed. The IHM Goa offers its premier course in three years B.Sc Hospitality and Hotel Administration which is a full time course to pursue in hotel management. Additionally, the institute offers two one-year diploma programmes: trade test in Food Production and trade test in Food and Beverage Service.

B.Sc Hospitality and Hotel Administration
A pass in the 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.
Diploma in Food and Beverage Service
It is open to 12th-pass students of the +2 system who must have studied the English language as one of the subjects.
Diploma in Food Production
