Padre Conceicao College of Engineering (PCCE) was established in the year 1997 and affiliated with Goa University, Taleigao Plateau, Goa. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the fields of Engineering and Architecture. PCCE Goa offers 5 full-time B.E and M.E programmes in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Information Technology.
PCCE M.E programme is Information Technology. The PCCE Goa eligibility criteria for admission to the B.E programmes is based on the marks obtained in the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a valid scores on the previous academic exams. The PCCE Goa M.E admission is based on the marks obtained in the bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and the GATE entrance exam score.
PCCE Goa placement cell organises campus recruitment drives, internship opportunities, training programmes and career guidance sessions for the students. The PCCE Goa median salary package offered to the UG students is around Rs. 4.50 LPA. - The applicant should have a valid score at Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) examination conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Goa, for the year of admission. GCET score of a previous year is not valid.
- Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering/ B.Sc. Degree with Mathematics as a subject at Std XIIth, with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC students), shall be eligible for admission to the First Year of Engineering Degree courses subject to vacancies in First Year, after vacancies at Lateral Entry Level are exhausted. The merit list of such candidates shall be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks scored at the qualifying exam.
Students Applying Under NRI Category
In addition to the above requirements, students applying under NRI Category must also take note of the following:
- Non-resident Indian applicants holding Indian passport shall be eligible for consideration under this category provided he/she has studied and passed qualifying examination from school/colleges located outside India, in the country of his/her residence. NRI candidate must produce a certificate issued by Indian Diplomatic Mission or Chancellery or Commission abroad under their seal stating that the father /parent of the applicant is an Indian resident in that country. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders are considered eligible for admissions to seats under NRI Category.
