SI-MET College of Nursing Muttathara, located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, came into existence in the years 2015 and affiliated to the University of Kerala. The following is a co-educational institution that is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) to provide special education in nursing. Actually, the college occupies a small area of land, only 25 acres, and employs 20 highly qualified specialists, including teachers. SI-MET college of nursing aims at producing quality nurse administrators through a single program B.Sc Nursing with an approved annual admission capacity of 60 students.

The curriculum probably includes such courses such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, pediatric nursing and community health nursing among others.
