Tagore Institute of Pharmacy and Research Bilaspur was set up in 2020 making it one of the youngest pharmacy colleges in India. This affiliated college located at Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh has come up into limelight in expedited period in the field of pharmacy education. For the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), which is a four-year course, the college has an approved strength of one hundred seats. For candidates, who want to do a short period of course than that of B.Pharm the institute provides Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), a two year course offered for a total 60 seats. These programmes can be broadly described as those that seek to impart knowledge and skills that is necessary for practice in a constantly changing pharma industrial environment. Two of these programmes are Pharmacy Practice and Clinical Pharmacy and the institute is able to devote more focus on pharmacy education to produce students for various positions in the pharmaceutical industry.
